After touring 52 shows in 51 days across the Midwest, LSH Productions and TCH Stage and Studio join forces to debut the Kansas City metropolitan performance of Skippy The Drum Machine: a music concert for all ages.
This educational concert shows how music is made through the voice, body, and beatboxing, the art of making drum sounds with your mouth. Led by Luke "Skippy" Harbur, families with kids ages 8 and under will learn how to do the art form themselves, make silly sounds, wiggle their bodies with dance breaks, and gain new tools for how to become music makers themselves! No experience necessary: no matter your age, this program proves we are all smarter, kinder, and better together!
This concert includes a live reading of "Boots, Andy, Cats: a world for all ages, shapes, and sizes," Skippy's first book! The children's book is available for purchase as a ticket bundle option, after the program, and at www.BootsAndyCatsWorld.com
The Culture House Stage and Studio is located at Oak Park Mall, 2nd floor, Nordstrom wing.
